I just got a notebook sized laptop computer that is behaving somewhat erratically. One thing it did out of the blue is change everything on the ad.gif forum into small print. I'd appreciate being shown how to get back to normal. This doesn't seem to be a problem on other sites.

Perhaps I should qualify the problem by saying that fixed print out stuff like 'Rules' are not effected. Also if I come from another site to ad.gif the home page looks normal but when coming back from a thread it is diminished like the thread.

Now I've examined it one step further. The problem developed on my foxfire browser. I'm posting on my IE browser now and the print size is normal. That still leaves me with a problem with foxfire, my preferred browser.

Final update: I went back to my foxfire browser and then to my edit menu and hit 'select all'. At first nothing happened, other than the bolding of everything, and then magically the normal print size was restored. Frankly I don't know how the problem was triggered in the first place or the mechanism of its correction. I guess I'll just take what the lords of the cyberworld give me.

For future reference, Firefox has a zoom feature under the "view" toolbar. You can also zoom in and out in any browser, I think, by holding down ctrl and moving the scroll wheel on your mouse. Handy for sites with odd-sized fonts.

CTRL SHIFT + for enlarging

CTRL - for shrinking

I'm on Chrome, but this might be universal in browsers. It's an old memory from the early days.
