Bush: 'Our Long National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity Is Finally Over'

That of course refers to the first Republican minority POTUS in the 21st century. The second one's actual headlines are better than any fictional ones. Sad.

While perusing the comments on an article about the 10/1/17 mass shooting in Las Vegas, ran across these Onion gems:

"‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens"

"NRA Says Mass Shootings Just The Unfortunate Price Of Protecting People’s Freedom To Commit Mass Shootings"

"This Shooting Isn’t About Gun Control We Refuse To Pass, It’s About Access To Mental Health Care We’re Continuing To Gut"

This one isn't from The Onion, but it has a lot of the elements that Onion articles use. It's about going to the NAMM trade show for musical instruments and associated gear. You don't need to know anything about music but do need some inkling into how useful trade shows are, meaning not much. They are merely extended sales pitches gathered in one place, along with profiteers making a killing on unrelated stuff. I tend to like them thumbsup.gif

Still my favorite YouTube guitar nut.

FYI, NAMM is not named after Vietnam, and the electric guitar wasn't invented there. Just for grins, here's what we know about that:

Yep, nobody knows for sure.
