I would pick Jaime. She has had the opportunity to exhibit some of her abilities to use sound judgement. It is important to be decisive at times and not so at other times. I do not think she would influenced by political or religious beliefs. She has a wide degree of interest and would not be overwhelmed by a sophisticated set of information.

Judgement would be the ability to identify those actually doing harm versus those having trouble with the technicality of a law, the ability to weigh the evidence, and the ability to process the court smoothly.

A close second goes to Cyan for the same reasons. There are several others I would not mind having as a judge but the list is not as long as my list for members I would like to see in elected office.

I would definitely go with Jaime, because when making a decision, she tends to not allow her personal feelings to cloud her judgement.

Involving myself?

Plaintiff: I'd have to go with hugo or Izdaari. I'd want a judge that advocated personal responsibility if I were suing some deadbeat Defendant (oooh, I felt like I was a work for a second there ).

Defendant: I'd probably pick quarkhead or cyan. I'd want a bleeding heart to feel bad and go easy on me

I would definitely want Jaime to defend me!

For as much grief as she gives me, I'd pick her too. Being as impartial and non-influenced as she is , I'd like to think she'd set the impartiality aside and give in to my influence.
