The United States is offering $25 million for information that leads to the capture of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein or proves he is dead.

What would you do with the money if you collected the reward? huh.gif

Of course this is PURELY hypothetical! biggrin.gif

After taxes(which would be about half of the 25 mil rolleyes.gif)I'd buy a many-acre piece of land and build a big mansion with a huge garden with many paths and benches and fountains and hedge mazes around it. Lots of cacti and and botanical plants!

I'd pay for AD to sit on it's own wicked server with more bandwidth than the Internet has to offer, and pre pay for the next 100 years.... w00t!!! biggrin.gif

I would keep two million and give away the rest. It's too much money. Two million bucks is more than enough to build myself a wicked studio and start some investments for my kids.

And yes, I really mean it.

Sounds good to me... flowers.gif Seriously, you guys got any leads? wink.gif

If I had $25 million I would probably make sure I'd be financially set for the future and then blow the rest promoting the site (you know, so I'd have something to do smile.gif ).

Nah. You just have to find a way to get the money out of the country. I'd suggest you send out letters like this:

SAVANNAH GEORGIA.

LETTER OF ASSISTANCE

Dear sir,
It is my pleasure to write you after much consideration, since I cannot be able to see you face to face at first. Being the only son of my father, late Mr. MIKE FARUK UMJUMBO SR from SAVANNAH, GEORGIA. I am 24 years of age.

My father was limited liability Cocoa and Gold merchant in SAVANNAH before his untimely death.

My father was collected of the US govnerment reward for IRAQUI DICTATOR SADDAM HUSSEIN.

He left to nagociate in Abidjan - Côte d´Ivoire, cocoa and gold business . A week after he came back from Abidjan, he got an accident with my mother of which my mother died instantly but my father died after five days in a private hospital on that faithful afternoon, I didn´t know that my father was going to leave me after I had lost my mother, but before he gave up the ghost, it was as if he knew he was going to die. He my father, (MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE) he disclosed to me that he deposited sum of $25,000,000,00 US Dollars (TWENTYFIVE MILLION DOLLARS) in a security company here in SAVANNAH.That the money was meant for his cocoa and Gold company he wanted to establish in Abidjan - Côte d´Ivoire though, according to my father he deposited the money in one trunk box but declared it as vital family belongings. He single handed me the key of the box and the deposit certificate and instructed me to seek for a reliable and trust worthy business partner for my life time investment abroad. Now I have succeeded in locating the security company in SAVANNAH also confirmed the items with most honest and confidentiality. Now I am soliciting for your assistance to help me lift this money out from SAVANNAH to your safe account abroad so that we should invest it in any meaningful lucrative business because this is my only hope in life.I am willing to offer you 15% of the total fund if only you can help me out of my present predicament.

THE REASON WHY I CONTACTED YOU:-
--------------------------------------------------------

My mind is made up about investing this money inestate managment and living permanently in your country. Transfering the money will not be much of a problem as the bank can handle that . The problem I have and for which I contacted you is to assist me financially to withdraw the box containing the money from the SECURITY COMPANY where my father deposited it. His death was sudden, of course, so no previous arrangement was made by him to that effect.

He only paid some money on the day he deposited the box. The money has since expired and the box has accummulated some daily demmurage charges that have to been paid before the box can be released to me. As soon as this can be done, the content (money) will then be paid into a local bank here for onward transfer to your overseas designated bank account you will provide. All relevant documents about the box are with me.I believe the best way to go about it, if you will accept , is to effect changes of the documents in your favour, so that you can come to SAVANNAH, GEORGIA as the rightful beneficiary of
the deposited box. Then you and I will go to the SECURITY COMPANY for proper identification, claim the box and go straight to the bank and deposit the money, in your own name. Then you will leave intructions to the bank for the money to be transferred to your country. finally, arrange my travel documents to join you in your country for the investment of the same. Your intended visit will also afford me an opportunity to really know ourselves and discuss, in fine details, how to invest the funds. It will also afford us an opportunity to know ourselves better. I shall give you more details when I receive your urgent responce, depending on your reply to this,

Thanks, and God bless you, give you the wisdom to carry out this great deal. Awaiting anxiously to hear from you so that we can discuss the modalities of this transaction.I await your immediate response.

Yours sincerely

MIKE FARUK UMJUMBO.

Ahhh....I love dreaming about money....

First, I'd hire a good international accountant who could set me up with an offshore fund. I'm not giving any of it back to Uncle Sam if I can help it.

Then, I'd buy an island* as close to the equator as possible; set it up with power, communications and a water/sewer system.

Finally, I'd invite my friends and family to come join me and live happily ever after...until the hurricane comes. Wanna join me? biggrin.gif

*Have you ever dreamed of escaping from your dull existence to a new life on a tropical island?...
Check out these sites: Vladi Private Islands or Private Islands Online

I kind of have my eye on these two islands if this reward thing works out...Long Coco Cay, Belize or Saint Aleixo Island, Brazil...sigh...

Ok. If you've read my post on the introduction thread, you know that I'm a freak.
wub.gif I LOVE MICHAEL JACKSON! wub.gif

If I had that $25 Million, the first thing I'd do is have a customized mansion built outside of Atlanta. Have it furnished with everything I've ever lusted after! whistling.gif high tech galore! I'd have a dance studio built in the mansion too, so I could practice. Then, I'd hire the person who designs and makes all of Michael Jacksons costumes and have him\her reproduce everything of Mike's to my size. I'd then recruit dancers and travel around performing in clubs and benefits. All the money I'd make at gay clubs performing, I'd match and donate to a charity. heart.gif

btw... If you didn't realize it yet, I'm a Michael Jackson Impersonator. cool.gif

Ah...money fantasies.

I would buy a little, three-bedroom house in the mountains with a decent sized yard. I wouldn't want anything large, because I don't want the responsibility of having to clean a huge house, and I really don't need that much space.

I would go back to college and double major in Cultural Anthropology and photography.

I would then travel around the world for an extended period of time. I have my eye on some of these reality tours, and I really want to visit my friend in Iran.

I'd buy a nice Hasselblad, and eventually I'd like to adopt a child, but I've got a bit of living to do first. biggrin.gif
