Due to some other thread i made this topic, i did not know where to post it, so it landed here.

Do you think GDP based economic planning is a major player behind the EU's creation, and why europe's currency is being lumped together into the euro. I see the euro's creation as being culture based at the same time, and of course for ease of use in a small world, but i just think that maybe the EU's creation is purely economic in base, and may even be purely related to american economic planning.
