Half of my family is Jewish and I know we couldn't be anymore American. My grandfather sold life insurance in Harlem, watched baseball, smoked, drank beer, fought in WWII, and sent his kids through college. Don't tell me he deserved scorn or wasn't a real American. The majority of people who use the " Jews killed Jesus" excuse are racist and bigoted against ANYONE who isn't just like them. They have agenda's of their own and place their blames onto the shoulders of others because they don't want to take responsibilty.

Taking words that are thousands of years old and attempting to interpret them to suit your own needs is fine, but not if you are using them to hurt or hate others.

Nileriver, I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say here, but the passages that you posted were taken out of context. The links that people posted put those quotes back in context. That's necessary in order to truly understand the meaning of the verse. It has nothing to do with racism. You can't read one sentence in a book and know what the book was about. You have to look at it holistically for it to have any true meaning.
