Firstly I would like to have it understood that everyone is religious meaning that they have a view on how got here and even if you just don't care or don't, infact, believe you are here (which I have had one person say to me before) you have a code for living and a way by which you run your life.

Secondly this thread is here to debate our existance mainly focusing on the currrently held view of lots of people that there is no God and that the alternative is evolution.

The universe must have been created by a greater being that is recognised around the world over as God, in different shapes or forms. However God in all Places is always greater than man (some however, no more moral than man) and is the reason for our existance.

The Lord is God, is real and will at the end of time judge the earth.

But what are the alternatives if there is no God.
Evolution - the random coming together of matter to form order, life and intelligience.
An Energy - We are all bound somehow to a great mystical energy that made us for no reason and we may as well not exist.
We are not here - I had this explained to me but didn't quite get it.
As I understood it though, you ask yourself if you are real, why you must be real and why if you think you are real do you think that everything around you is real because you believe yourself to exist because you interact with other things. But if everything else does not exist then neither do you. Something like that, but it means there is nothing except things, that are not actually things, wondering whether other things, which are also not things, are things.

If there are any other views on our existance please post them and if you feel I have misrepresented your view please tell me also. Debate the creation, the cosmos and our purpose.

We have A LOT of threads on this topic and I'm not sure we need another; although, if you could provide a compelling reason, we will consider it.

Most of what you ask us to debate is already being debated here The "sense" of evolution.

Additionally, we also have this thread: Evolution and Creation, can they teach all sides? - which focuses more on teaching these subjects in school.

Finally, we have all these threads: Darwin and evolution, Theory of evolution and its implications
Creationism vs Evolution and
Evolving out of evolution

Please join us in anyone one of those threads.
