What measures really need to be taken to ensure our safety in the skies? The big screw up that the media is reporting on says that cockpit and airline pilots still are susceptible to these the scrupulous terrorists. What is the the TSA, Department of Homeland Security doing wrong and what should they be doing right?

Reporters say that the government wanted to cut out Air Marshals to save money. blink.gif
The Airlines have installed improved cockpit doors, but they are left open during flight so the pilots can go to the bathroom and so the stewardess can bring them their food. When the cockpit door is open, the serving cart is placed in front of the door. blink.gif

What needs to change? huh.gif

I think the pilots need to have their meals already in the cockpit before the flight takes off. Put it in a cooler. They are their to fly the plane, not to have a five course meal. dry.gif
Astronaughts wear a "special diaper" blush.gif to relieve themselves while inflight for days, why can't a commercial pilot carrying much more valuable cargo than a satellite (human lives) not do the the same thing for a couple of hours?

What are your opinions? huh.gif
