I really hope you're not in the same condition were're in. The worst part is there is no one adressing the problem. Meanwhile here we are 49 in the nation (Good ole Mississippi). I think I might actually trust Republican social strategy if it weren't for stuff like this...

Would be interesting to see why that is. I wonder if they allow deductions on state tax for interest on loans and such. It would explain alot.

Perhaps, but a tax system were those who can least afford to pay bear the highest burden is indefensible. Regressive tax systems are relics of the the "bad ole days" and they need to be eliminated.

Turnea, this is off the subject, but wanted to say, I enjoyed a short visit to Alabama a couple of years ago. We liked what we saw!
My grandson is a student at Auburn University. He is still excited about the recent visit of Geo. W. Bush. sad.gif

Alabama is a wonderful state with horrible leaders in many areas. It's a good place to live, but it could be so much better...
