The Tennessee Titans are at Indianapolis this week and I expect a victory. They haven't lost a game I've been to yet, so I'm hoping that streak continues! If their defense plays the way it did against Oakland I think they should get a couple turnovers and win the game by at least a TD. I think it should be a very competitive game close until sometime in the fourth quarter.
I missed this one by a mile...
The Titans didn't play with any intensity on either side of the ball. During television timeouts and other delays in the game the Colts offense and defense were constantly grouped together jumping or yelling while Tennessee just sort of stood there. They played nothing like they showed themselves capable of last week.
That being said, as much as I hate to see them lose, the Colts defense looks much improved in its second year under Coach Dungy. They don't make the spectacular hits that Tampa is known for, but they make sure to wrap up the opponent so as to not miss a tackle. Colts fans could be very happy by the end of the season, though I hope they have yesterday's favor returned in Nashville December 7

Worst (meaning biggest blowout/one-sided game games):
Seahawks/Cards and Bucs/Panthers. I think the lowest scoring team this week will be the Bengals, so that game will also be uninteresting but might be at least a little more interesting than the other two.
Who would have thought the Bengals would have any prayer against Oakland...
in Oakland? If the Raiders don't shape up quick Denver might hand them a losing record hard to recover from!
In regards to the Tampa Bay game against Carolina, there's an interesting statistic to watch out for in the future. Sports analysts said during the week before the game that the only games Tampa Bay lost last year were those games in which the opposing team rushed the ball for 30+ times. They attributed this to the Tampa defense being undersized and susceptible to wearing down against a solid rushing attack.
Oddly enough, the only team to rush the ball more than 30 times and lose to the Bucs last year were the Panthers in a close one. Yesterday they carried for 30+ times and won.
Only a 9/15 so far with the Giants hopefully pushing me to 10/16 for the week. I'll also be hoping for Amani Toomer to get several looks, 100+ receiving yards and 2 TDs... it's the only way I can avoid dropping to 1-1 in my Fantasy League.
I'm surprised nobody has brought up the record day Jamal Lewis had torching the Brownies. I can't imagine what if must feel like for the Cleveland defense to have allowed him so many yards after he told them he would do it earlier in the week. If anybody gets a chance to see the highlights from that game, check them out. He just bulled through the defense, and on his 82-yard TD he just swatted a defender aside like he was nothing. An incredible performance.
For those who don't know:Jamal Lewis carried the ball 30 times for a single game rushing record of 295 yards. He scored twice on TD runs of 82 and 63-yards. His average for the day was an incredible 9.8 ypc. As though that weren't enough, he also had a 60-yard TD run called back on a holding penalty in the first half.
*It doesn't hurt that Jamal got me 30+ fantasy points this week
