With a massive volunteer grassroots network
American Association of University Women (AAUW) informs women how Congress voted on important issues. By reaching into every state and every community, we can empower more women to take action and make their voices heard in Congress, in the 2002 elections and in the years to come.

From the work place to our health care to the schools our children attend, the laws that Congress passes affect women's lives every day. Learn about the issues and the candidates. Most importantly, be sure to vote. Only by voting , can women make sure that the issues they care about are protected. Every vote counts.

Did women lose sufferage recently or somthing? I seem to recall that all women could vote if they want to; just like everyone else in this country.

I guess this article is saying that the AAUW lets women know how Congress votes on "woman's issues" so that women can make an informed vote. Also, I think the article (I didn't type the whole thing) was reaching out to women who might not vote otherwise.
