I am a huge music fan of all genres and I am hard pressed to identify any song excerts that I would consider a favorite.

I will say that the lyrics from Eminem's "Cleaning out my closet" certainly got my attention when the song came out. Posting the select lyrics I reference is not possible as they are quite profane yet very deep.

From an artist perspective Pink Floyd is likely my favorite when it comes to song lyrics.

This group is fast becoming a favorite of mine. They are in concert on Direct TV this month and it's an incredible show. I can't think of one song they sang I didn't really like.

I have this CD and I love it. They are a great group.

Can I nominate an entire band? Soul Coughing. Anyone know them? Many may think the lyrics are nonsensical but I connect with them, maybe I should be worried?

I always admired this band mostly because of their lyrical content.

Yet I must admit I didn't get into their final CD El something.
