Hello i'm new to the forums here, so please guide me if I break your code of conduct. I did read http://www.americasdebate.com/forums/index...&f=21&t=1984&s=, but I was hoping that the admins would see my post as valid. I see it as a starting platform for others' opinions on the matter.

We were debating 9/11 and american foreign policy on a south african site but the argument was too one sided with just one american. His arrogance led to the whole thing becoming more of a cursing match. I was hoping I could get more american points of view here.

My post may seem a bit harsh, but please let me stress that I do not hate americans. I have many american friends who I play games with online regularly - they happen to share my views. I am however very much anti-america.

America has been the cause of much frustration for me long before 9/11. Considering I am simply an observer of their atrocities and my country has never been a victim (AFAIK) of one of their crusades, you must understand that my opinions are not vindictive.

The modern world is a western controlled one, because they have the most wide spread communications networks (cnn, bbc). These networks are under the guise (and they like to remind you of it frequently) that they are unbiased new sgivers, which makes them that much more dangerous, because alot of people will take what they see on face value. For example I have not seen a single story on cnn or bbc about what america did to *** NOTICE: THIS WORD IS AGAINST THE RULES. FAILURE TO REMOVE IT WILL RESULT IN A STRIKE. *** off Osama. They, along with american movies and tv shows that spread like disease throughout the world are used to brainwash the masses into support for their empire. These networks are just another weapon in americas arsenal.

The people who died in the twin towers were civilians and therefore mostly innocent (they may have voted and supported their current government - or maybe not) and it is not something I can condone. It was however inevitable, and i predict MANY more strikes against the empire in the future from those who do not wish to be ruled by these power hungry leaders from across the sea.

And really, it was about time america felt the real effects of the wars they so
enthusiastically take part in. Not that its even closely symbolic... they only lost 2 friggin' buildings.... geez. How many millions more structures (which people need to survive) and INNOCENT people have died from american led wars or weapons?

For your interest, here are a few excerpts from reports of american retaliation that I saved from shortly after 9/11:
