Um, that just plain isn't true. Maybe we should start a thread about who's worse, SH or Bush. But um, no Americans were gassed by Bush, no Americans were put in acid baths by Bush, Bush doesn't watch as his enemy's wife is raped, there is absouletely no comparison.

Just got a letter from the Republican National Committee.
Dear Hugo,
We noticed you are not among the list of contributors to the Republican Party. We are sure that this is simply an oversight on your part and that the vacancy in cell #141 at Gulag #19 will not be filled by you. We actually prefer to keep the current single occupant of cell #141 isolated from other prisoners. I am sure we will soon be receiving your minimal donation of $250.

You know, an evil thought just occurred to me... 
I visit the "Independent" Argument forum on occasion (never posting) just to watch how far loss of perspective has gone on the other side of the Atlantic. I wonder just how many intellectually embarrassing little tid-bits I could pick up by introducing this topic...
Hugo: If I were you I'd start packing the essentials. A cousin of mine got the same letter and was gone the next week. Seems they're just trying to calm you down so that you're easier to find and imprison. There is a way to safety, however, (oh, how I hope we're not being monitored by President Bush's internet police). Head to the nearest democratic party headquarters (if there is still one that hasn't been burned to the ground) people there will help you on your journey to freedom in Canada.
