Full Version: Cool new features...
As I'm sure you've noticed, there are plenty of new features. Here's a few of the good ones:
My Assistant
The My Assistant is your personal guide to the site. to open it, click "My Assistant" in the upper right hand corner of your screen. A window will pop up that looks something like this:
It is rather self-explanatory, but is very convenient. I especially like the "View new posts" and "View my last 10 posts".
Calendar
The forum now has a built-in calendar which will allow the scheduling and reminding of important events. You can post private events on your personal calendar.
'Email Notification' by default
By clicking this link and selecting "Enable 'Email Notification' by default", the forum will email you whenever someone responds to a topic in which you have posted. You can also elect to receive an email when you are sent a private message.
On a different note, we have been switched to a different server in an attempt to avoid any future down time. The new server is up 99.9939 percent of the time.
I'll add some more information on the new features as time permits.

Part II
I have made it so that the location specified in everyone's profile will appear under your username, avatar, and other information in every post so it looks like this:
I have also added a few new fields to everyone's profile including gender, politics, and party affiliation.
To change these options, click here.
The new fields appear at the bottom:
If anyone has any suggestions as to extra profile fields, please post them in Comments and Suggestions.

New old feature
I reworked the "Large Fonts" skin and the "Extra Large Fonts" skin, so they are once again available.

How to change your skin
Step 1: Click this link.
Step 2: Select Patriotic Skin (Large Fonts) or Patriotic Skin (Extra Large Fonts) from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Click Change my Account Options.
That's it!
The font for the "Large" skin has been increased by 1 point or one pixel, depending on how it was set up, and "Extra Large" has been increased by 2.
If it is still too small, feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to work with you until we get it to a good size.
