Ok,

I have to ask this...who the hell mows there lawn when it's been 40-45 degrees for the whole week? I mean, the grass has not grown and as I am typing this I have my neighbor outside right now mowing his lawn. Am I missing something here?

I can think of many reasons:

Failure to mow the week prior.

Trying out new mower.

It's better than cleaning.

Nagging wife.

General boredom.

To drive you mad!!

Often people mow their lawns at this time of year in order to mulch the leaves, which then decay and feed the soil during the winter.

Ya..but this is a new subdivision and our trees are basically only twigs in the ground. This guy might mow until we get at least a foot of snow on the ground.

Darcaine-

A couple of weeks ago at about 1:00 in the morning, some guy down the street thought it would be a good time to get some yard work done.

He mowed. He weed-wacked. He blew (with a blower).

I know how you feel. mad.gif dry.gif

Hey give the guy credit. he is keeping the neighborhood looking spiffy lol
I do know how you feel though. One Saturday morning when I didn't have to work that Saturday, this women was out at 6 a.m with a leaf blower. It was a nice night and EARLY morning and the windows were open. I looked out. There were no leaves. It was in early June. I wanted to shout to her what the @#@$%&(&% ARE YOU DOING? But with that leaf blower she wouldn't of heard a thing. So I did what I could. slammed the window down and threw a pillow over my head. blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif
