I am usualy right, on most things. However, I swing left when it comes to abortion, I am pro-choice. Simply because I don't want some 15 year old crack whore living on the streets to have a baby. What issues to you swing left on and why?

I am right leaning primarily because of fiscal issues. I don't think the government should be in the business of redistributing income. However, there are a variety of so-called social programs which might actually increase governmental revenue (at least in the long term) and so which would be self-supporting and therefore remove my objections to them. Education could be one such area (education tending to produce higher wage earners and therefore more tax revenue). However, this isn't usually how these programs are presented by the left, so I don't favor them very often.

I'm a libertarian who is a Republican only as the lesser evil. If the Libertarian Party had a chance of winning elections, I'd be with them all the way.

We libertarians are often described as very liberal on some issues (drugs, civil liberties, etc.) and very conservative on others (taxes, size of government, etc.), which if true would make us ideologically schizophrenic. Well, we're not; we're consistently in favor of individual liberty. It's the old left/right scale that's outmoded. You need at least 2 dimensions for an accurate spectrum, i.e. the Nolan Chart, as in The World's Smallest Political Quiz.
