I'm no where near as artistic as some of the members here (Wertz, cyan, moif...from the top of my head) - but I appreciate your kind words.

If anyone wants a custom made avatar, I'm willing to try to try (no guarantees you'll like it). If I recall, Cyan has offered she would do them too... but I don't want to be accused of volunteering anyone

OK guys, since you seem to actively seeking projects, here's one. Ever since I had my first domain registered in Romania, I've wanted a vampire-platypus icon, i.e. a platypus body shape and bill but with fangs and bat-like wings. If anyone could do that, in either photoshop or cartoon style, I would most definitely use it as an avatar. I've tried to do it myself, but the only thing I suck at worse than visual arts is music and the results were predictably horrible.

I'll try my hand at designing a blood sucking platypus. I can't make any promises about the results. It may end up looking more like the Frankenstein monster.

May I use one of the Platypus images on your website as a base?
