Many people in this day know of the horrifying experiment with agrarian dictatorship that took place in Cambodia between 1968-1990. The 22 year civil war cost more than 3 million intellectuals, landowners, and educated people their lives, and another 2 million random civilians their lives as well.
However, one thing left out of common knowledge, is that Saloth Sar's Santebal and Khmer Rouge were equipped with Russian, Chinese, and US weaponry... without which, the Santebal could not have controlled so many people. None of these nations has yet admitted their responsibility in this genocide.
And yet, the hundreds of thousands of US-made landmines, the broken Chinese rocket artillery, and the Russian-built automatic weapons scattered through the jungles of Cambodia say otherwise.
My question is,
Why do you think these nations all deny their part in the Killing Fields?
