I know everybody is eagerly awaiting the arrival of our 1000th member, but I just had to beat you to it. tongue.gif I'd also like to point out that we're also nearing another milestone of 65536 posts, which is a nice round number in binary or hex. So...anyone want to place a bet, while there's still time, on which one we hit first?

Actually, I'll be deleting a bunch of inactive members shortly. Please stand by.

In that case I am betting on two to the sixteenth power.

Deleting inactive members is a wise move. Saves bandwidth. I wonder why they register and then don't bother to post.

I've finished deleting now, so the next time we go above 1,000 we should be there to stay. mrsparkle.gif thumbsup.gif

GoAmerica, it saves a miniscule amount of bandwidth when you consider how much we use overall. I think it only adds bandwidth on their birthdays, when someone looks at their profile, or the tiny, tiny row when viewing the member list.

We've got 979 members right now, but our newest member is number 1741. So that's about 800 members who signed up but didn't post within the first three months. Also, a lot of people give us bogus email addresses, and obviously can't complete registration.
