The military has a don't ask don't tell law, meaning that the military wont ask about your sexual orientation and you don't have to tell, however if the military finds out that you are homosexual, you are discharged. I was just wondering what others think about this law, because personally, i think it is absolutely absurd. i don't understand why a heterosexual male and a heterosexual female can serve in the military together without concerns of sexual relations, but 2 homosexual males or females cant. it just appalls me that our country has such a discriminating law when we're supposed to be accepting and "FREE" something about this law irks me and makes me believe that maybe America isn't as free as we put ourselves out to be...
