As you know, North Korea without a doubt has nuclear weapons. People say that since we knew that Korea had them, but not that Iraq had WMD's, we should have invaded N. Korea instead. Two words for you:
Military Disaster.
After 1953 Korea began to stockpile all sorts of artillery along the border of North and South Korea. The second that we take any hostile action, or even declare war against them, they can begin firing just where the guns are aimed: All of the major cities on the north section of South Korea.
Believe me, if I knew there were better circumstances for invasion, I'd say go for it. But, we can't just neutralize any threat that pops up. If there ever is a decent opening, maybe should take some action. But for now at least, it's best to just stay the heck outta there.
