Again, I am paying for advertising out of my own pocket for this site. Whatever the cost, the debate and free exchange of ideas is well worth any cost.

Now, the folks at FindWhat.com have the nerve to say that this site is not "American enough" to be listed under the term "America".

I am writing in response to your recent inquiry into the disapproved keywords for your account makjmn's website America's Debate - Free Speech For Everyone!. The reason that the the keyword "stem cell research debate" was disapproved is that in reviewing your website we could not find any topics addressing this issue. The keyword "America" was disapproved because there is no specific information relating to America such as historical facts. You may wish to use a keyword which is more site specific such as "America discussion". Thank you for your understanding in this matter of our relevancy policy and thank you for choosing FindWhat.com.

OK, so yesterday, I had a 40 minute conversation with FindWhat, and they have agreed that our site is in fact American.

My main contention was that if our site wasn't American, why are sites with "UK ONLY" in their title allowed under the keyword "America"?

Apparently, they needed to "police" the keyword, as most of the keywords did not apply to the listed sites.

Seeing as all sites must be manually reviewed, I don't know how these "UK ONLY" sites even got up there to begin with. But that is neither here nor there.

We're listed under "America", and that's what matters.

Thanks to the FindWhat staff for rectifying the situation (with a decent amount of coaxing).
