I want to reopen this topic because there seemed to have been a lot of misinformation on the subject previously.
Many of the posters in April didn't seem to take this issue seriously. One poster suggested that we (Americans) should "Drop bongs, not bombs", and that "This issue would make a great Cheech and Chong movie". Does he also consider medically-engineered birth defects and neurologic disorders (such as tardive dystonia) CheechyChong material?
Most of the "mentally-ill" in this country are routinely FORCED by court order and police authority to "take your medicine" because of the physically harmful effects of these chemicals. Most of the people who are court-ordered into "treatment" are locked up in the psychiatric prisons for alleged THOUGHT crimes that have little or nothing to do with the criminal justice code. They are not afforded the rights of those in the criminal justice system, such as free speech, right to adequate legal representation, etc. The "court-appointed lawyers" are not there to protect the rights or the wishes of the client, but instead to assume the identity of the "client", and petition for what the lawyer thinks should be done to the client.
Most of the people in the 'mental health system' are there because they refuse to conform to mainstream middle-class values and beliefs; in short, they are mainstream society's dissenters, not just dangerous criminals like Charles Manson or Andrea Yates.
On April 23 "Cyan" posted:"these drugs take an extended period of time to become effective". Apparently, he has never seen a 300 pund man knocked down with a 200 mg injection of Thorazine, then chased with three more doses of 100 mg each spread 15 minutes apart, then 'maintained' on 50 mg doses every four hours. I don't mean this as a personal offense to you, Cyan, but the neuroleptics are nothing nice. When they are forcibly administered over a period of time, it is little more than systematic oppression to eliminate resistance.
Cyan, I also want to correct you on the statement you made that neuroleptic warfare are 'less violent than..'; it's just not as immediately lethal. Most of the neuroleptics are used for warfare anyway, on a small scale until now;this has been kept hidden from public knowledge.
Psychiatry is about population control;population control is also the purpose of war. Many people believe that the world is overpopulated, and want to decrease the population levels; neuroleptics are a way to do that.
The neuroleptics shut down brain function by blocking the dopamine receptors; this in turn affects the endocrine and hormonal systems. For example, the phenothiazines block the production of progesterone, a hormone that is vital for maintaining a pregnancy; this has the potential for controlling population growth.
I'm going to end this chapter here. This will probably not last long because of how sensitive this information is.
