There is a small legend at the bottom of each topic page that explains what the different envelopes mean. However, the envelope with the little yellow dot in the middle (I guess sealed?) is not listed. What does it mean??!! It's driving me crazy.

Hi.

The little yellow dot signifies a topic in which you have posted. thumbsup.gif

Its the Invision Power Board Forum style. If you are familiar with vBulletin, the arrows signify the same thing.

Thanks. <sheepish>

I never see the yellow dot to signify where I have posted, and since it isn't mentioned in the legend I didn't know it existed until now. Is it dependent on the system I use?

I run IE6 in Windows ME over cable broadband at 600kB/s, if that's relevant.
Mike
Julian, you don't get the dots at all? That is very odd. huh.gif

That is a global setting that I can turn on and off for everyone. So, if one gets them, we all get them.

Please double check to make sure they are not there. As the dots are so small, they easily go unnoticed, sometimes for months on end. wink.gif

Here's an example of each envelope icon, with and without the dot.

The dots have definitely been missing for me also, since the last upgrade. I did see them before then, and I have cleared my cache to make sure I'm not picking up old images.
Mike
Platypus, are you using IE? Well, not that it should really matter, but are you? wink.gif

EDIT: Actually, Platypus, could you email me copy of the page source from a page where it isn't appearing? It may help shed some light on the situation. wink.gif I'm going to look for the section of the code that does this to see if it may be a bug.
