Intersting topic Cyan. I'll weigh in that I LOVE men! smile.gif
amf
Umm... If you're "unsure", how can you know enough to debate here??

hmmm.gif
Cyan
Some people experience some confusion about their sexual orientation or periods of curiosity. I'm just trying to give enough options to suit everyone, and I'm sure that I still probably missed some.

Additionally, if you vote in the poll, please don't feel obligated to post any additional information unless you want to. I know that it can be a sensitive subject for some people. smile.gif
Aganarmon
What does other mean? Do you mean that there are other kinds of orientations?

Trisexual? Females, males, and inanimate objects?

laugh.gif
Cyan
Well, there are people who are asexual, just to give an example. Like I said, just covering my bases. wink2.gif

Who is the homosexual?

Come forth I have a pink star.
rootis
Paul Doran, do you want me to be? innocent.gif

As a heterosexual, i would like to know if anyone know what the statistic really are?

Is there a difference between, lets say United States, and Sweden, in the amount of Homosexuals, Heterosexual, bisexuals, and so forth?

Anyone know about this?
Paul Doran
Of all couples in the United States, 90% are heterosexual and married, 9% heterosexual and unmarried, and 1% homosexual.

95% of all homosexual couples can be found in 10 American cities.

San Francisco, CA

Fort Lauderdale, FL

Seattle, WA

Oakland, CA

Berkeley, CA

Atlanta, GA

Minneapolis, MN

Washington, D.C.

Long Beach, CA

Portland, OR

I also found this fairly disturbing site, with a clear agenda :

http://www.inoohr.org/homosexualstatistics.htm

That was just a quick look, will find more later.

Why would you post such a hateful link Paul? Isn't this supposed to be one of those more lighted-hearted-get-to-know-ya threads? sad.gif

As a lesbian, I would be offended by being made to wear a pink star! mad.gif

Can I wear a black one, instead? whistling.gif

I am sorry, but i really feel like people need to see this sort of thing - it disgusts me, i think it is good to highlight the stupidity of this people. The more thier propaganda spreads the more it de-legitimises them because it becomes so obvious they are iditoic, irrational people.
It probably should be removed i guess, as its a little off topic, and not really answering rootis question?
Jaime
As long as you have a legitimate reason. I may have misunderstood this whole thread as 'fun'. blush.gif wink2.gif
Cyan
This thread is supposed to be informative specifically regarding America's Debate, and it is a "get to know ya" thread for those who are comfortable with sharing their sexual orientations.

Please do not make this thread uncomfortable by introducing any negativity or pressuring anyone to identify themselves. We have the rest of the forum for debate, and I want this to be a friendly thread.

Thanks flowers.gif

I am heterosexual but would not feel uncomfortable kissing a girl that I knew well... My friends and I are very cuddley people. Would people term that as being bicurious? I don't know.

what's a metrosexual?

A metrosexual is a straight man that dresses and has the taste of a gay man. rolleyes.gif

I live next to a land of metrosexuals!

Here are many definitions of a metrosexual:

Urban Dictionary

QUOTE
metrosexual

Metrosexual: (noun) Of or pertaining to a straight, urban male who is eager to embrace and even show off his feminine side, especially when it comes to expensive haircuts, designer suits, and $40 face cream.
-From Netscape Celebrity

This definition describes one as I know it.
rootis
ok, never mind, i am not a metrosexual.

Proudly bi. If I'm attracted to someone, I don't want to be limited by gender. cool.gif

Was married once, but found it too confining. flowers.gif
Ultimatejoe
I like the ladies; which is shame since most of the ladies I like seem to have some sort of deep-seated emotional problem.
Mrs. Pigpen
So straight I like my men scruffy and grissly.
SuzySteamboat
I don't like to be limited by genitalia, so I consider myself to be open-minded - bisexual? - I overwhelmingly feel attracted to males, but I'm still open to the possibility of meeting a female whom I feel romantically attracted to... huh.gif
Eh... I went back and voted "other" huh.gif

I am heterosexual and I hate the term metrosexual. Hate it! A stupid stereotype that implies certain ridiculous stereotypes about both heterosexual and homosexual men.

I'm a modern dandy. I do not step out of the house without dressing with dignity. This amuses me.

I have been long distance relationship with my girlfriend for a little over a year. She's from PA. Yes, I'm in way over my head. But I'm very fond of her. Even though she accuses me of being gay simply because of extreme politeness, good fashion and dreaming about having Emile Zola in my pants.

Yes, I'm a virgin. Good guess.
Victoria Silverwolf
In real life, my behavior has always been utterly heterosexual and as vanilla as you can get. I have only had two sex partners in my life. One was a one-time fling, and I married the other. I am utterly turned off by BSDM games, no matter how innocent.

In fantasy, I am polymorphous perverse. I have certainly had fantasies about the same sex, and about activities in which I would never actually participate (such as incest.) I frankly enjoy these fantasies, but I would never confuse them with my real life.

I am also very mildly trangendered (for lack of a better term) in that my favorite fantasy is changing my sex.

I hope this wasn't too much information. blush.gif
Paul Doran
I know you women are saying why you are Bi - cos men are mostly ugly!

If I was a woman i would be gay! smile.gif
quarkhead
I seem to be a lesbian trapped in a man's body - thank goodness, then, that my wife is a gay man trapped in the body of a beautiful woman!

Yep - you, me, and Eddie Izzard. (I don't know about you, but I don't bother with the cross-dressing he goes in for.)

I put myself down as heterosexual, although I suppose I am currently autosexual. I don't mean I have burns on my man-bits from using the tail-pipe. I mean that at the moment the only person I have sex with is myself. Depressingly, this seems likely to remain the case for the foreseeable future. down.gif ermm.gif crying.gif

I blame a combination of excessively high standards and a bad case of Groucho Marx syndrome. You know - "I wouldn't want to join any club that would have me as a member".
Dontreadonme
I am ardently heterosexual. I do have an open mind and am willing to try almost anything, it's all got to be within the bounds of me and a woman....or a couple of women...oops..never mind whistling.gif
CruisingRam
I have been monogamously heterosexual for about 5 years now, and happily so, though my wife wishes us to be Polygamous, so I guess we would be polycurious? LOL flowers.gif hmmm.gif

And I guess what do you call it when a couple thinks of thier orientation as a single person? hmmm.gif
Bill55AZ
Strictly hetero, unless the fantasy of being with 2 bisexual women at once counts against me.
CR, I also once entertained the thought of being Polygamous, back when my wife turned 40 I thought of trading her in for 2 each 20 year old women. But my wife reminded me that I am not wired for 220. biggrin.gif
doomed_planet
I've always been attracted to older men
(I mean, if you consider 80 "older") cool.gif

Younger men can be fun,
if they don't ruin it by talking too much. blink.gif
Beladonna
Hetero here. I love everything about the male body. I like my men studly on the outside with big hearts on the inside. Yummy! wub.gif
Cyan
Bisexual here. smile.gif
Ultimatejoe
Did someone say Studley?
Mrs. Pigpen
I have never seen a poll generate this many responses this fast. Almost 50 in less than two days. Certainly is a hot topic.
Jaime
Because too many decided to discuss inappropriate subject matter for minors, and we were forced to delete some posts, this thread is now poll only. mad.gif
