1.5 Billion to help marriage. Where does Dubya keep finding all this cash?
Here is the Christopher Plan to save Marriage.

Are you sure you are ready
Have you tried the career route? Do you know what you want to do? Are you satisfied with your profession? Trying to advance means extra time in. Difficult to do with family.
Do you have money saved? A home to live in? Money problems ALWAYS lead to arguments. The stress gets to you both.
Are you ready for children? Your free time and cash are gone for at least the next 21 years. Not to mention anxiety heartattacks EVERYTIME they do something new on their own. crying.gif
Have you traveled, have you done all the silly stupid stuff you get to do as a free youth. These are the things that come back as a midlife crisis and also cause unwarranted resentment towards your partner. It can easily become "their" fault you can't do things.
Wild Oats. Have they been sown. Are you ready to be with that one person forever? No others ever?
Do you have enough in common with your other to survive a lifetime together after the passion fades. It doesn't last forever. Sometimes you hear that when it does fade and the blood goes back to your brains you end up asking "Who are you?" OR "I guess I never really knew you"

There what do ya think. Print it out at Kinkos for a dime. Save a fortune. Tell ya what I'll let it be posted free on the net and they can print their own copy.
Give me the .5 Billion put the rest back and we'll call it a deal. You are getting a bargain. happy.gif

Deabate Questions

What do you think of this plan by Bushy and the Conservatives?

Is this for real or just laying the groundwork for their "Save Marriage in America" Constitutional Amendment to "protect" marriage from Gays. Who somehow are causing marriages in this country wacko.gif

What do you think of MY plan? Do I not deserve the .5 billion? Got any additions to add. If considered worthy I shall of course allow you a portion of my Prize payable in yearly installments over the next 10 years. rolleyes.gif

I like your plan.

It should not be the business of the government to get involved with marriage - and especially not the federal government. Families can still be families without marriage. And families can still be broken even with married couples.

Your plan tackles the root of the problem - people need to make a commitment, and be truly ready for children, marriage, and married life.

This (family values) happens to be one of the reasons I want the church kept seperate from state because the "solutions" they offer aren't effective.

The discourage you from "playing the field" before marriage. Some people need to do this to make an informed decision about marriage (I sure needed it).
They encourage you not to use birth control - WHAT?
etc etc.

Family values should not be taught by bush and his religious cronies. Not in America. Communist Russia, maybe.
