Hey, Ive notice that most people in the chat room and the same through every chat so i rquest that you say your chat expirence. Maby we could get more people.

It is a very nice chat session. Very friendly people and laughs galore! It is very fun and i love participating (even though through some of it i am gone or away). But it is very fun!

I always have fun at the chat sessions. My only complaint is that it can get confusing with so many conversations going at once. But that's with any chat room. My chats with AD members is so much better than just joining a general chat room because we develop a repour through our debates that make our chats such a release from being serious and taking sides.

Well yesterday was my first chat on AD, and I thought is was really fun. I think it a better enviroment then the standard "A/S/l" chatting. The only two problems we had last night was the heavy scrolling and alot of "liver."
Edited to add: I think we should bring the counter back. I still have it in my head though.

The counter is still there. Click the "stats" link to the right of the "chat" link on the top left of your screen.

No, I meant the count down timer. BTW there appears to be someone chatting to themself all morning. Maybe some fell asleep (or passed out) in front of the PC last night. That was a wild party, oops chat, last night. Anyone seen my shirt? jk

Hi Folks. Wow you guys are the best. I had soooooo much fun last night Gee wiz I was up to midnight. I had to get up at 6am to get the Darling Daughter off to school! I am soooo tired. Well I must say I am no stranger to real time chat. I once frequented a Yahoo current events room though eventually became frustrated with the Hype and lack of any real supporting evidence. Seemed all vent and anger, not very productive. I find your system of posting then as a side Bar a lighter real time chat most productive and satisfying. You Folks have a great thing here! There are those who believe that intelligence and humor are related (although I can’t imagine Einstein at the Improv). So it was no surprise to me that those who so eloquently, intelligently and tactfully deliver their arguments on the board also have great senses of humor.

Even though I didn’t really participate a lot, it was refreshing to know that we can all put our differences aside and have fun.

Just need to brush up on my speed reading/typing skills.

Yes it was fun. Yesterday was my 2nd chat ever! The first one was here at AD too. I never thought I would like a chat room, but everyone makes you feel welcome. The scrolling was hard but I think it could be manageable if we had more Zen moments like Doomed suggested.

I never really did get the liver thing! At first I thought it was an inside joke on Wertz's name (liverwertz). Then a substitute for word we shouldn't be using. Now I think it is both, like Wertz uses words we shouldn't be using. Am I right??

I'll probably be there after the SOUA but maybe pop on during...

Let me explain the liver thing. It was last night's 'safety word.' The safety word is word we type when the chat is getting too weird, too adult, too boring, or you're just not liking the direction of the conversation. The safety word changes with every chat and is usually set early on in the evening by whoever thinks of one first.

Does that clarify it?

Edited to add - Rev- sorry for misunderstanding which counter you meant. Mike puts them up ~24 hours prior to the chats. I think it's kind of obnoxious and wouldn't want to look at it for the 2 weeks preceding each chat.
