And here I thought that "Stairway to Heaven" had been banished by the International Society of Guitar Shop Owners
I personally don't like tablature. The standard sheet music has everything you need to know, but I also understand that it's a bear to learn for guitar cuz you can play almost any given note in more than one place on the fretboard.
Sheet written for guitar often has little hints as to how to finger the composition. That's nice.
Anyway, Melody Assistant is a good, cheap ($15) shareware program that can do tablature. It's pretty impressive for the price. I got mine from
zdnet.
