I was sitting here wondering if any of you other guitar people know of any good guitar tab sites? I've really only found one, and it's ok. In specific, do any of you know where I can get a better tab for Stariway to Heaven than the one is at guitartabs.cc? wacko.gif

try this, tab confuses me a bit so I can't judge if these are any good or not:

stairway to heaven
stairway to heaven
stairway to heaven
stairway to heaven, this one is interesting as it gives you the intro, verse, chorus, etc separate with audio to play along

That's it for now, when I want chords or music i usually will search the band name and either, lyrics or chords and I usually get something I can work with

And here I thought that "Stairway to Heaven" had been banished by the International Society of Guitar Shop Owners biggrin.gif

I personally don't like tablature. The standard sheet music has everything you need to know, but I also understand that it's a bear to learn for guitar cuz you can play almost any given note in more than one place on the fretboard.

Sheet written for guitar often has little hints as to how to finger the composition. That's nice.

Anyway, Melody Assistant is a good, cheap ($15) shareware program that can do tablature. It's pretty impressive for the price. I got mine from zdnet.

There's a lady I know . . .

laugh.gif AM. I thought of mentioning that!

The owner of my local guitar store mentioned, not too long ago, that STH has been making a come back with the kids.

dreampiper,

You might like this:

Robert Plant STH NPR

Robert Plant is one of those ultimate singers. I was really impressed with his insights and approaches to music. But the best thing about that interview, besides lots of good wailing from Plant, was the Tiny Tim rendition of STH!

Arf arf, need to make an MP3 of that one tongue.gif
