I don't like Bill O'reilly's new commercial. In it he says, "we have no agenda".
While I find myself agreeing with O'reilly quite often, I think that anyone can see that O'reilly does have an agenda.
Who's he trying to kid?

Personally i cant stand Bill O'Reilly, he gives me the impression of what the left tries to imply all republicans are. Out of touch, homophobes, and reigious zelouts. He should stop yelling, the truth is all he needs, and as for having no agenda... if he doesnt i dont want to support him on tv.. he better be pushing a conservative agenda.

I liked Bill O'Reilly a lot more two years ago than I do now.
Before, he was a lot more humble. He used to research an issue, and work off of his notes.
He backed up his arguments. He had the facts.
Now that he has gained fame and influence, he has also, in my opinion, lost quite a bit of his credibility.
He spends more time spouting off his beliefs and opinions than he does backing up his case with good, hard evidence. He interrupts the "last word". Rarely does a guest truly get the "last word".
I have sent him countless pithy email, and he doesn't seem to respond well to "please deflate your ego" and the like.
I'm interested in seeing how far Fox will let him go. Apparently they like it. They gave him a key role on their new show (and horrible theme song) The Pulse.
In any case, I think he's going to have to change his approach. His radio show is not doing too well, and that is purely his opinion. Since it is carrying over to his Fox show, I think it will turn some viewers off.
Any thoughts?

I too liked BIll more a couple years ago. Never was An "agenda" of Bills more obvious then in Aug.6th's "factor". The topic of the Pledge being restored. He was slanderous, aggresive, mistaken and unapologetic, wouldn't even touch the topic and just tried to hurt Dr. Newdows credability. Happily it was one of those rare occasions where Bill pretty much got cut to pieces.

I happen to like the factor more for it's change. It's good he's actually trying to DO something with the show. While he is opinionated (I'm sure not one has noticed)
He tend to have a rational approach to the subjects. That and he yells a lot less then most people seem to believe. I watch nearly every show and I almost always get something out of it. I don't agree with everything he says but he's the most reasonable of the debate hosts.
