There was a baby girl born here in Illinois the beginning of Jan.
She weighed 8 ounces and was 9 inches long.
I believe she now weighs 1 pound. And it has been a month.
Doctors had to find special instruments for this little girl.
They expect her to be able to go home in about 4-5 months and at that time will weigh about 3 pounds.
I find this amazing. Thank God for modern medicine. This little girl is not out of the woods but it really looks good for her.
Do any of you know of a smaller baby that has survived?
Do you think it is because of modern medicine that this child will survive or is it an act of God? or Both?
