Out of curiousity. I see many times people start a thread to try and find some info on something. It is of course is quickly squashed by the Powers That Be. Understandably.
However while I can generally find whatever I need with some digging, when it comes to topics with which I have no familiarity I often hope to hear from fellow posters here at AD (The Greatest Political Forum in Existence TODAY! w00t.gif Led by the able Jaime and that other fella gary ,,,Lou? Theodore,,,uhm don't tell me,,,,its ahhh, hmm Nick?. shifty.gif )

So

Can we get a spot here designated for Information Search questions. There are some people on AD who have excellent skill at producing quality Intel

I moved this to Comments & Suggestions because, well, it's a suggestion biggrin.gif

Having a resource page where we can share links to useful information is something we have desired to implement here at AD. As of now, we are yet to find an efficient and effective way of providing such a page.

We will not be creating any forums or threads for people to post or request links. There is, of course, google for the easy stuff. And - if you've never read the google advanced search tips page, do so. The information in there will really help you narrow down searches.

If you are looking for something more in depth and you think another member may be able to help you out, drop that person a friendly PM. You might make a new friend in the process wink2.gif

Thanks for asking about this; and, like I said, a resources page may be something we can implement down the road.

Why can we not just create a huge sticky with loads of relevant info? Thats what every other forum on the planet does?

Since when have we ever done something because someone else does it?

Use a search engine or go to the library for your basic information. Come here to debate.
