Since it opens in five days I thought this would be an appropriate topic to discuss, with all the controversy surrounding it. (Personally I believe that if nothing else it will help the films profits...)

Mel's fathers inappropriate comments have inflamed an already heated debate over whether the film is anti-semitic

The question to debate is: do you think it is indeed anti-semitic? And have you lost any respect for Mel over this issue?

My personal opinion...No I think its a bit of a stretch to call it that, it just depicts a story that has some factual basis. Was Braveheart anti-English? And the story of William Wallace was certainly less factual than that of Jesus. Although Mel's fathers comments were inappropriate I don't subscribe to the "like father like son" theory, and still hold Mel's work as an actor/director in the highest regard.
