Jaime
We need a place for us to post words that aren't in the spellchecker and should be.

I know these need to go in there:
surprise
website
spellcheck
spellchecker

Also, if you spellcheck your own name and it doesn't recognize you, let us know and we will add it.

This is your only chance to post one-liners that will be constructive. Have fun!!! mrsparkle.gif

Words I've noticed that SpellCheck [sic] does not recognize:

I'd
would've
could've
should've

And the following proper nouns:

Saddam
Hussein
Rumsfeld
Wolfowitz
Osama (okay, we don't use that one so much anymore - but we may need it again around October)

Thoght It had a "learn" feature! If so teach it, but be careful! mrsparkle.gif

Whenever I type George W. Bush, the spell checker suggests George "WY" Bush. It might at least suggest George "Why Bush?"

Yeah - but only till you dump your cache - which I do about every three days.
Wertz
Oh, yeah - SpellCheck keeps trying to "correct" emoticon code as well - "lol" and "rolleyes" and "w00t" and "thumbsup" and "wub" and so on...

And I noticed yesterday that it doesn't recognize any form of "privatize" or "privatization" either.

These words, when i am typing fast, become "woudl", "coudl", and "shoudl". The spellcheck does not recognize my misplacement of the "l"

I think you may be misunderstanding what we're looking for here.

We're looking for words that, when spelled correctly, are flagged as being misspelled. I have little control over the suggested words.

would
should
could

These all are spelled properly, and the spellcheck ignores them.

woudl
shoudl
coudl

These are not words, and the spellchecker flags them as being misspelled, as it should. wink.gif

Nope Spell check is still flaging Nader. Maybe you have it added to your cookies.

It's kind of a pain to add the words, so I'm going to wait until a few pile up... smile.gif

SpellCheck doesn't recognize "al-Qaeda" - or, more specifically "Qaeda". "al" seems to be okay.
Jaime
I have a few -
