I don't know about you but did any of you buy her products?
I know I didn't. Her products to me were over priced.
I don't think K-mart or Sears is going to lose anything. There is always someone out there they can get to pick up where she left off.
Maybe retail stores should not endorse anyone and it would lead to lower prices at the registers for consumers. Just a thought!

Never bought anything associated with celebrity, but I guess a lot of other people do. The Martha Stewart story is a sad one to me. Sure, she's probably guilty. And maybe this is sending a message to crony corporate crooks. Hey look! A small-time player is heading to jail! You could be next.

I tend to think she doesn't have the psychological defenses needed for handling the slammer. But then maybe I underestimate her survival abilities.

I thought her line at Kmart was nice. I actually bought the linens and candles to decorate my home almost every time we moved. The Everyday Houseware was tasteful, and classic (IMO). Her line was very popular for Kmart. They haven't been doing so well financially, and filed Chapter 11 last January. It doesn't look good for that company, unfortunately.
