Hi there...
I posted the same post twice by accident in the 'Souching towards 600' thread under current events and headline news.
I cannot figure out how to delete a post, I assumed there would be a button for it, but cannot find it, can anyone help?

Only Mods and Admins can delete posts. If you accidentally make a duplicate, report it or PM one of us and we'd be happy to remove it for you.

I've PM'd the administrators in the past and asked them to remove the duplicate post. They've done it without any trouble. (Oops, sorry Jaime--you're quicker on the draw than I am!

Since allowing members to delete posts would cause chaos in the forums, we don't allow members to do this. For example: (Member A posts something that Member B responds to, Member A decides their post looks silly in the face of argument, deletes it, now Member B's post doesn't make any sense).
Mike or Jaime could explain much better than I, but if the staff doesn't catch something like a double post right away, a PM to any of us will get it deleted.
