I was wondering whether you need to have a certain number of posts before you can view member profiles. Whenever I try to click on a member name, I get a message saying that an error has occurred. I asked this question in a Private Message but I didn't get a reply.

I'm sorry to bother you. Thanks for considering my inquiry. smile.gif

Yes, new members are restricted from seeing other member's profiles. We do this to primarily protect our member's privacy and it cuts down on SPAM. We require members to post here awhile to show they are interested in being part of our community. It's not a very strict requirement and doesn't take long for most people.

Also, as it was me who did not respond to your PM, I apologize. Note to everyone - I receive MANY MANY PMs on a daily basis. It takes time to answer them all, often times I can not respond on the same day. So if I'm slow, please be patient. blush.gif flowers.gif

Additionally, up until about 5 minutes ago, new members were not able to view their own profiles, although they could edit them.

I have gone ahead and modified the way this works. New members can now view their own profiles in order to make sure the information appears as intended.
