I love Eeyore's posts!!! From what I have seen, his posts are always well thought out, well documented and interesting. He seems to be able to cut to the chase and get to the heart of the issues being debated. Several times, I have responded to his posts saying that he "really nailed it"!

But that doesn't mean we agree on everything. Far from it. But it is no fun to "debate" with someone who sees everything the way you do. The fun of it is when someone can challenge your views in an intelligent and respectful way so that you end up seeing (maybe just a little bit) what the other side is saying.

Love it. Thanks Eeyore!!! thumbsup.gif

Amlord
hayleyanne is one of the bright newcomers to AD.

Always respective and intelligent, she sees both sides of the issues (even the wrong ones, right hayleyanne? wink2.gif )

I have enjoyed reading her posts immensely. She really seems to be a good debater and a good person.

Two thumbs up. thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif
English Horn
There're posters here on AD who NEVER used an inflammatory statement or a phrase and always post very thoughtful, intelligent, measured responses - even in the most heated of debates. Amlord is at the forefront of these people. Our views may differ, but I have nothing but respect for Amlord because he always respects opinions of others.

English Horn brings a wealth of personal experience to AD that has made many debates incredibly informative.
Always coming to the table with a cogent, impassioned argument, EH keeps threads civil, insightful, on topic and fun to read!

DTOM huh?!

Well hell what can ya not say about the future President of the United States.

Even when he is on the other side of an issue from me personally Ya always gotta respect what he says and Opines. Not given to hysterics at all and gives probably one of the best and most consistently Libertarian views availible--yet never sounds like some one who you suspect may actually have a tin foil hat near their computer "just in case"--and always comes off as the guy you want on your side in a fight.

Aww crud I oughta write Hallmark cards... laugh.gif

Christopher is one of the most passionate members on the board. I enjoy his creativity while looking to improve any given situation or topic subject.

He’s not afraid to stick his neck out and has conviction to stand by his views while injecting a healthy dose of often needed humor.

Quality.
USA Rawks
I'm new but I'll say something nice. Looks like a great board! us.gif thumbsup.gif
Eeyore
USA Rawks is an enthusiastic new poster to America's Debate that will blossom into a nice new edition around here after becoming familiar with the rules and protocols around here. thumbsup.gif
Paladin Elspeth
Eeyore not only has a good mind, but his posts show that he has a good heart as well. I think he actually might be as humble and unassuming as his online user name and avatar.

Judging from what he has posted, I would like Eeyore to be one of my daughter's teachers.

Paladin Elspeth, you are a fellow pacifist and a beacon of loving-kindness. What's not to like? You bring together thoughtful logic and passion, particularly compassion.

What more can I say but that you have the Buddha-nature! smile.gif flowers.gif

While we don't agree on a lot, I believe that "quarkhead" is a very eloquent and passionate debater who is very intelligent, widely read, and articulate.
ConservPat
Lord Helmet is becoming a familiar face here at AD, and his variety of open-minded "moderate conservatism" is very refreshing, he's no Kool-Aid drinker, which is very nice to see.

As a fellow libertarian, ConservPat and I, share much in terms of political, economic and social outlooks. He values actual measurement and other empirical techniques above ideology thumbsup.gif. A good and thoughtful debater, he's an excellent example of why America's Debate has been so successful and someone I'd enjoy getting a beer with.
