First, let me thank you all for contributing to part one of this, but our hypothetical record promoter has informed me that they have serious problems with the record deal.

First, they want only one song from each contributor!

This could blow the whole deal!

This means that everyone that contributed more then one MUST pin it down to only one song.

I know this will make some members nervous, but this is what the hypothetical record company wants!!!!

So the question is, to those that made more then one choice, which song do you want on the album?

If no choice is made before the final draft is submitted to the hypothetical record label, then you will be dropped completely and will not share in the split of the hypothetical riches!

Sorry I had to take this drastic measure, but you know them hypothetical Hollywood types.

To anyone who has not yet contributed a song, go ahead and submit your Favorite song now.

Ok, it's tough but I'll do it. Being a massive fan of late 70s/80s electronic rock, it is hard to dismiss Joy Division (it was hard enough to dismiss New Order, the Eurythmics, Frankie, Flock of Seagulls et al in the first place!) in favour of my second choice:

Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult

Partly because you seemed very pleased that I mentioned it, and partly because its a fantastic song mrsparkle.gif

I'll leave Pink Floyd/Roger Waters to the administrators and pick

One by U2

a song request in five letters, how can that not be perfect? wacko.gif ph34r.gif

Suite: Judy Blue Eyes By Crosby, Stills and Nash
(for the Best of Album)

It is truly one of my favorite songs, ever.

(plus, you seemed quite pleased with this choice) thumbsup.gif

So then, if I compliment you on your selection, will that make you change it? blink.gif

CLOSED. We're getting a little carried away with these music topics. Let's slow it down a bit, please.
