I'm going to Cedar Point this weekend, and I'm sure we'll spend hours waiting in line for Top Thrill Dragster and other rides.

I've been searching the internet for some suggestions on how to amuse ourselves while waiting. Surprisingly I haven't been able to find a whole lot of suggestions. Maybe you guys could offer some website/book resources or some ideas?

I don't know what a Q-bot is, but maybe Cedarpoint (don't know what that is either) is like Six Flags in providing some to the first arrivals.

Read this article. Otherwise I am likely of no help.

Waiting for the thrill

Of no relevance is the fact that this article was written near the AD home office and the author has a name that has the pronunciation of Jaime. wink2.gif shifty.gif

Well I just got back from a vacation and spent a day at Six Flags Astroworld in Houston and what we did mostly is joke around. Eventually the people around us started joining in and we made a few friends. Other things to do is play video games on handhelds or phones, eat, curse the line jumpers, check out the hotties after they get off the water rides, maybe start a debate and bring up AD. I think I once read, on a Snapple cap, that we spend three years during our lifetime waiting in line, or maybe it was stop lights. I know some amusement parks now have an option of paying an extra 20 and you get a pager and they page you when they can squeeze you in. They had it at the Six Flags in NJ a few years back, and it was completely worth it.
