From the body armor lie, to the S.1290 lie, to these listed below, my question is, "How many more lies does John Kerry have to be caught in before he starts getting treated like President Bush does for making the same arguement as Bill Clinton, John Kerry, and the UN about Iraq's WMD?"

Lower Marginal Tax Rates
OPINION: Kerry Claims He Always Supported Lower Marginal Rates. “I have always been in favor of lower marginal rates. I voted for lower marginal rates.” (Sen. John Kerry, Remarks To American Society of Newspaper Editors 2004 Convention, 4/23/04)
FACT: Kerry Voted Against President George W. Bush’s Marginal Tax Rate Cuts. The 2001 tax bill cut all marginal tax rates. The 2003 tax cut sped up the implementation of the rate cuts. (H.R. 1836, CQ Vote #165: Passed 62-38: R 50-0; D 2-38, 5/23/01, Kerry Voted Nay; H.R. 2, CQ Vote #179: Passed 51-49: R 48-3; D 3-45; I 0-1, 5/15/03, Kerry Voted Nay; H.R. 2, CQ Vote #196: Adopted 50-50: R 48-3; D 2-46; I 0-1, With Vice President Cheney Casting A "Yea" Vote, 5/23/03, Kerry Voted Nay; "Estimated Budget Effects Of The Conference Agreement For H.R. 2 The 'Jobs And Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act Of 2003," Joint Committee On Taxation, 5/22/03; "Estimated Budget Effects Of The Conference Agreement For H.R. 1836," Joint Committee On Taxation, 5/26/01)

Kerry Military Records
OPINION: Kerry Claims He Released All His Military Records. RUSSERT: “Would you agree to release all your military records?” KERRY: “I have. I’ve shown them – they’re available to you to come and look at.” (NBC’s “Meet The Press,” 4/18/04)
FACT: Kerry Has Not Released All Military Records. “The day after John F. Kerry said he would make all of his military records available for inspection at his campaign headquarters, a spokesman said the senator would not release any new documents, leaving undisclosed many of Kerry’s evaluations by his Navy commanding officers, some medical records, and possibly other material. …[W]hen a reporter showed up yesterday morning to review the documents, the campaign staff declined, saying all requests must go through the press spokesman, Michael Meehan. Late yesterday, Meehan said the only records available would be those already released to this newspaper.” (Michael Kranish, “Kerry Refuses To Release More Records,” The Boston Globe, 4/20/04)

Iraq And The War On Terror
OPINION: Kerry Denies Link Between Iraq And War On Terror. KERRY: “And everything [President Bush] did in Iraq, he’s going to try to persuade people it has to do with terror, even though everybody here knows that it has nothing whatsoever to do with al Qaeda and everything to do with an agenda that they had preset, determined. That’s where they're going to go.” (Dan Balz, “Bush Uses ‘Terror’ As A Fallback, Kerry Says,” The Washington Post, 4/16/04)
FACT: In December 2001, Kerry Included Saddam Hussein In War On Terror. CNN’S LARRY KING: “What about enhancing this war, Senator Kerry. What are your thoughts on going further than Afghanistan, all terrorist places …” KERRY: “Oh, I think we clearly have to keep the pressure on terrorism globally. This doesn’t end with Afghanistan by any imagination. And I think the president has made that clear. I think we have made that clear. Terrorism is a global menace. It’s a scourge. And it is absolutely vital that we continue, for instance, Saddam Hussein.” (CNN’s “Larry King Live,” 12/14/01)

Aid For Higher Education
OPINION: Kerry Claims Bush Not Aiding Students. “A report by his campaign showed that an alarming 220,000 young Americans were priced out of a college education just this year because George Bush turned his back on college affordability. These are 220,000 young people who would have attended a four-year public university but did not because George Bush broke his campaign promise to increase student aid and did nothing to help struggling states.” (John Kerry For President, “Kerry Takes Campus Tour To Howard University,” Press Release, 4/15/04)
FACT: Under President Bush, Number Of Pell Grant Recipients Has Grown By One Million Students. “Since President Bush took office, the number of Pell Grant recipients has grown by one million students. Included in this increase is the President’s $33 million request for new Enhanced Pell Grants for State Scholars to provide up to an additional $1,000 for freshmen who took challenging courses in high school.” (“President Bush’s Historic Investment In Education,” U.S. Department Of Education Budget Service, Dollar Estimates As Of 2/14/04)
Kerry Voted Against President’s 2001 Tax Relief Bill, Which:
 Made it easier to use state prepaid tuition plans, such as allowing tax-free distributions from plans when used for college tuition.
 Expanded and simplified Roth IRAs, which can be used for higher education expenses;
 Provided above-the-line tax deduction for higher education expenses;
 Expanded and made education IRAs (“Coverdell” IRAs) easier to use by preventing income from education IRAs from counting against eligibility for HOPE education tax credits. (H.R. 1836, CQ Vote #165: Passed 62-38: R 50-0; D 12-38, 5/23/01, Kerry Voted Nay)
Kerry Voted Six Times Against Expanded Education Savings Accounts, Which Would Have Provided $4 Billion In Tax Savings. Voted to filibuster this bill four times. (H.R. 2646, CQ Vote #288: Motion Rejected 56-41: R 54-1; D 2-40, 10/30/97, Kerry Voted Nay; H.R. 2646, CQ Vote #291: Motion Rejected 56-44: R 54-1; D 2-43, 11/3/97, Kerry Voted Nay; H.R. 2646, CQ Vote #38: Motion Rejected 55-44: R 55-0; D 0-44, 3/19/98, Kerry Voted Nay; H.R. 2646, CQ Vote #46: Motion Rejected 58-42: R 55-0; D 3-42, 3/26/98, Kerry Voted Nay; H.R. 2646, CQ Vote #102: Passed 56-43: R 51-3; D 5-40, 4/23/98, Kerry Voted Nay; H.R. 2646, CQ Vote #169: Adopted 59-36: R 51-2; D 8-34, 6/24/98, Kerry Voted Nay; Senate Republican Policy Committee, “A-Plus Education Savings Accounts/Cloture,” 10/31/97)
