If I'm at work or if I want the basics, quickly. I turn on CNN headline news. This is the reason most people watch this channel (from my perspective). Why then are we bombarded by 5 min segments that detail the life of baby kangaroos. I can see how it's informative and more knowledge is never a bad thing. But isn't this a NEWS channel. It's even in the initials (Cable News Network.) Is there anyone out there that appreciates hearing about baby Kangaroos inbetween a report about 12 missiles being found and a suicide bombing in Laos?

I agree. With all these 24 hour news channels, I guess they get desparate to find things to "report" on. Anything is better than watching Entertainment Tonight or Hard Copy though. What a joke.

I was happy to work with a kangaroo a few times. They are interesting critters. Information on kangaroos and missiles does seem to be disconnect as to being similar relevance.
