OK, this is just too weird. I can’t imagine there’s much of a market for this.

Introducing "Guys Gone Wild," an all-male version of the "Girls Gone Wild" video series, which promises "the hottest, wildest, most beautiful real co-eds," stripping for the cameras during spring break and doing things they'd never do back home.

<snip>

But sometimes, Nicole found, there's a hangover of regret once the party's over.

"There are a few people who come up to me the next day or later that night and say, `You know what? I'd really prefer that you not use that. My dad is the governor of blah-blah-blah.' Or `I'm planning on going into politics.' Or `I'm going into the army,'" she said. "I lost some really good footage, but I can't do that to them." MSN Story

Considering all the exploitation of girls in the Girls Gone Wild series (some underage, as lawsuits attest, free liquor to loosen up the inhibitions, refusal to edit girls out at their request), why all the sudden mushy consideration for the guys?!

I just thought I'd post a completely frivolous, unserious topic for fun. biggrin.gif If a debate question is required, I guess it would be the one I posed in the above paragraph.

Girls or Guys- you gotta sign a release first- you sign, you get what you were paid for- end of story. Remember Vanessa Williams spread in Penthouse that caused her to lose her Miss America title? A hard core lesbian spread- she signed a release. She wanted to be famous.Well, she is now about the most famous um, former miss America LOL

If you don't like it DONT SIGN THE RELEASE LOL

Aside from the drunken-idiot behavior on the part of the guys this is nothing new. Personally, I don't see the appeal of drunken partiers. But hey, whatever works for you.

As far as exploitation is concerned, from my understanding the girls in those videos are doing that stuff anyway, whether on camera or not. I don't see how having a camera around while they make drunken fools of themselves makes it any more exploitative than the behavior they are doing themselves.

Grendel72, the girls are most definitely encouraged and coached to do certain things to make more titillating video. The GGW crew cajole girls into getting completely naked, or making out with other girls, stuff like that. GGW also pays for the booze, and drunks are pretty easy to manipulate. It looks like some of the guys had second thoughts, but GGW was kind enough to cut them out of the film.

CruisingRam, I don't think GGW has them sign releases, do they?

I see where you're coming from, and I'll admit that I've never seen one of these videos and have little interest in seeing them, but it still seems that the ones responsible are the folks caught on video. It's their decision to drink, it's their decision to get nekkid.

As for the guys, there are already plenty of videos available with attractive sober guys getting nekkid. It must be pointed out that when a guy gets as drunk as the girls in those videos do the issue of equipment functionality sometimes comes up (or rather, it doesn't).
All things considered, I just don't see the appeal of drunken idiocy when there are videos already available that feature nudity in a much more arousing setting.

Again, though, to each their own. Who knows, maybe I'll rent the video to see what all the fuss is about.

I'm sure I've got some footage of me around somewhere...I wonder how much it's worth... w00t.gif
