I think he will choose Edwards. Everyone form both sides fo th aisle has been saying Edwards is the man he'll pick.

I think Edwards is probably the only way he can get elected or at least have a decent fighting chance because Edwards has some real good views that could help Kerry

Also, I believe if he gets edwards to back him then the democratic party will be strong. They already have Gore stating his rash opinion on bush and staying around in the peoples eye just to remind everyone he won the popular vote in 2000. This among other things provides the party with a strong base.

Drudge has this as his main report on his website. Here's a little more about the tuesday announcement/rally. CNN reports:

QUOTE
Democratic sources close to the campaign told CNN that barring a last-minute hitch, Kerry will use the rally to announce his choice.

Right you are about that GoAmerica. I honestly believe that Edwards will be the chosen #2 man. He is from the south, which will balance out any "east coast liberal" attacks. He is also a very articulate man and one who could do the party favors when he debates Dick Cheney. He'll either look like Dan Quayle against Cheney, or he'll look like Kennedy. I believe the democrats are hoping for the latter.

Adding a bit of humor, if you visit the New York Post, on the front page it has Dick Gephardt announced as Kerry's VP pick. Reporting at its finest.

Just got my John Kerry camp email. Pertinant part:
QUOTE
Dear Gracious Leader,

In just a few minutes, I will announce that Senator John Edwards will join me as my running-mate on the Democratic ticket as a candidate for vice president of the United States. Teresa and I could not be more excited that John and Elizabeth Edwards will be our partners in our journey to make America stronger at home and respected in the world.

There you have it! Can I close this now??? biggrin.gif

(and yes, I requested Kerry call me Gracious Leader w00t.gif )
