While I've been on a hiatus of sorts I've always stopped in occasionally to read some of the most well prepared and informed positions on any number of subjects.

The staff here are to be commended for creating the most civil discussion environment I've ever come across on the internet.

I remember stumbling on to this site a month or two after my old one closed. What I found was a stark contrast in the character of the site, the people who belonged to it, and the debate experience from the old site.

Every time I hop on, I know that there is the potential for me to jump into the fray of a hot debate filled with passion, intelligence, and civility. I always get a little bit wiser debating with friend and "foe" ( ) alike.

Thanks and Congrats to Mike, Jaime, the Mods, the Commitee, and the fine members of the America's Debate Fourm.

This message board has enriched my life by providing lively debate, and by letting me get to know the good folks who inhabit this site. Many, many happy returns, Mike and Jaime!

I've nothing really to add, except to say I think that AD is the best debate site in the English-speaking world, not just in America.

Keep up the good work, committee members and moderators, but most of all Mike & Jaime, without whom none of this would have been possible.
