Here is a small group of links about radioactive waste in America. They touch on simple points but will allow for the reader to gain a perspective if not motivation to learn more in my eyes. Some of the issues are not merely environmental, though that point looms largest to me, but about the lack standards and ability for todays bad guys to get a dirty bomb right in the states maybe. I hope this topic raises eyebrows at least.
local paper on wastepublic watch on hanfordanother local paper on waste with a twistBeing i live close to Hanford, i have heard about it much in my life and read about it more then once. I have spoke with people that have lived their and what it has done to people that live there. I have also heard about the glowing fog that sets in on the town sometimes. The topic for debate is what will America do with its radioactive waste, and is what its doing good enough really?
