c'mon, even though it'll probably be an errant radio signal or "Space" static or something, i still find it exciting.

What do you think it is?

If Aliens, what would that mean for the current belief systems on this planet?

It would be problematic at best for the Big Three religions.

Could mankind survive the sudden loss of religion?

Does anyone have a spare towel Just in case....

QUOTE
Speaking to BBC News Online from the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico, where he is preparing an observing run to follow up Seti@home analysis, Dr Wertheimer said: "It's all hype. We don't have anything we are excited about.

"At the moment, we have no candidates that we are particularly excited about and the new 'signal' is not a priority."

Where's my dang foil.

Well the questions for debate remain if people could keep it civil.

While the topic of Alien life on Earth is interesting, and there are many angles to be discussed, America's Debate doesn't accept topics specifically debating religion. Please PM me if you have any questions or suggestions for a modified debate.
