America's Debate utilizes advertising throughout the site to help offset our costs and generate revenue.

Our custom advertising system allows members to choose the location and number of advertisements displayed on the site.

You may set your advertising preferences via your User Control Panel:

1. Click My Controls at the top right corner of the forum.
2. Scroll down the left side, and click Advertising Options.
[attachmentid=284]

3. Choose your advertising options, and click Save Changes.
[attachmentid=285]

NOTE: The current system is setup as follows:
  • Guests, Validating Members, and New Members do not have the ability to set their advertising preferences.
  • Members have the ability to choose whether they would like to see one or two advertisements on the forum. If you choose to see only one, you will have the choice of whether the advertisement is located at the top or the bottom of the page. Your advertising preferences have no effect on the advertisements displayed on the non-forum pages.
  • Sponsors and Staff have the ability to choose whether the would like to see one advertisement, two advertisements, or no advertisements at all. If you choose one advertisement, you will have the choice of whether or not the advertisement is located at the top or the bottom of the page. Choose no advertisements at all will remove advertisements from the entire site, not just the forum pages.
