A group of citizens in Arizona have formed a quasi-border patrol to help deter illegal immigration along the Mexico-Arizona border. They believe a presence in the area will help stem the tide of illegals coming across the border, bringing a trail of trash and a wave of crime.

They have stated that their goal is to force the government to do their job, and negate the need for this type of citizen's group.

Opponents call this activity racist and counter-productive.
