It can be viewed online for those who missed it. Talks about advertisers at first, ends up talking about politicians and how the candidates find out what our "buttons" are demographically so they know what to say and who to say it to.
They spend hundreds of millions of dollars on what seems to be propaganda. How can we possibly know what the candidates really stand for?
Very interesting part about how they got the estate tax killed, by calling it the death tax, end result was 75% of us was for getting rid of it. Guess we completely overlooked the idea that probably 90% of us will never have an estate big enough that it would matter. So the rich got a tax break by hoodwinking us.
Enlightening to say the least. I recorded it so I can watch it again.
Next week, they explore the biggest of the big box stores, Walmart, and how their methods are affecting the our lives.
